2019 Willamette Valley Chardonnay
Our 2019 Willamette Valley is a blend of Chardonnay with 60% coming from Vivid Vineyard in Eola-Amity Hills and 40% from Andreas Vineyard in the Vanduzer Corridor.
Grapes were whole cluster pressed, with the juice being settled from 24 hours before being racked to French oak barrels for fermentation. Fermentation was allowed to start with the native yeast and took about 1 month to finish; the wine went completely through malo-lactic. We aged the wine on its lees for 17 months before being racked to tank one month before bottling.
