2022 Vivid Vineyard Chardonnay

Vivid Vineyard is located in the Eola- Amity AVA. The soil is Jory volcanic, and the cooling winds from the Van Duzer Corridor are strong in this location, which keeps the rich acidity in the wines. Our Vivid Vineyard Chardonnay is a blend of 3 clones 76, 95 and 96. All the clones were picked together and then pressed. The resulting juice was settled for 24 hours before being racked to French oak barrels. (34% new and 2 x 3 times filled). We aged the wine 16 months on lees before racking the wine to tank for 1 more month of aging before bottling on January 23, 2024.
